                      How To Use

                        Use Before or After Your Workouts/ For A Meal Replacement or as a Nutritional Shake:

                        • Complex carbohydrates are the best choice for sustained energy & we need them in our diets (especially when we're active!). Complex carbs are mainly found in whole plant based foods & are an essential energy source for the body. This sustained energy lasts longer due to the longer time frame of its break down into glucose (aka sugar).

                        • Sustain your energy throughout a workout by maximizing your glycogen storage (stored sugar in the liver that is released when your body needs more energy). Without replenishing glycogen levels your body can experience slower recovery times and can even breakdown in muscle.

                        How To Use As A Pre-Workout: 

                        • To build up your glycogen storage before a workout take 1/2 - 1  serving at least 2 - 3 hours prior to your workout (do not take within 1 hour of the workout as this may impair physical performance due to a drop in blood sugar). 2-3 hours gives your body adequate time to maintain & build up your glycogen storage, this is also known as "carb-loading".

                        How To Use Post-Workout:

                        • Take 1 serving within 1 hour (preferably within 30 mins) after your workout to replenish your glycogen storage & to increase your muscle recovery time.

                        How To Use As A Meal Replacement/ Nutritional Shake:

                        • Take 1 serving for breakfast or for lunch. Mix with spring water, plant based mylk, and/or include in a smoothie. Further instructions and recipes will be included.
